Our product team at Ivans has been working hard to develop solutions that bring something new to the market, and Ivans Insights™ is unlike anything else.

Recently presented at the Innovation Face-Off at DIGIN in San Francisco, Ivans Insights transforms how carriers and MGAs find the right agencies to partner with. Thorsten Camp, senior director of product at Ivans, and Kyle Heller, director of data products at Ivans, did a great job leading the product demo.

Solving the Pain

With more than one million daily transactions across Ivans and all of the rich data we have across the industry, we are often asked how Ivans can help the industry understand data better. We take that question very seriously, so we started working on a solution. Ivans partnered with Google for the project and worked with pilot carriers to develop Ivans Insights. This tool reduces your need for one-off agency visits, multiple disjointed applications, or manual reporting.

Ivans Insights offers carriers and MGAs a unique view of the independent agency channel, with a network of more than 38,000 agencies. You can search for valuable business and performance insights based on market segments, book of business attributes, KPIs, and more. Ivans Insights also provides real policy data and agency metrics within their agency network. Plus, you get to see what lines of business agencies have with other carriers and what they’re doing across the industry.

“I’m sure a lot of you have used tools like Open Table or Yelp to find restaurants and Zillow or Redfin to search for a house. Carrier marketing teams needed something to search and find agencies,” Thorsten said. “This will show you information about agencies that you won’t find elsewhere.”
